The Coffs Harbour & Clarence CanDo Cancer Trust supports patients and families attending the North Coast Cancer Institute.
In an effort to ensure funds remain in the local area and help those most in need, the CanDo Cancer Trust Committee, along with the generous support of the Coffs Coast Freemasons, established the Trust to distribute funds to patients and families affected by cancer.
In light of the Coronavirus and the need to limit non-essential events, the CanDo Cancer Trust Committee have decided to postpone its upcoming annual Rottnest Channel Swims in Coffs Harbour and Grafton. We know we do not draw large crowds and the swimming pools are safe due to chlorine and cleaning practices, but out of respect for the elderly and cancer patients that are most at risk, we have decided to delay these events.
If any sponsors or teams wish to receive a refund please contact us, otherwise we will hold your sponsorship money until the events are held at a later date this year. We apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your understanding of our situation.
UPDATE: The annual Coffs Harbour Rottnest Channel Swim will now be held on Saturday, 17th October 2020.
Grafton Rottnest Channel Swim- will now be held on Saturday, 24th October 2020.
